For yoga leggings
Discuss the rise, leg shape and how much hold you want. Compare opacity in stretched positions and check recovery at the knees and waistband.
For sports bras
Discuss coverage, lining, straps and the intended activity. Fabric alone does not determine support; the construction and fit matter too.
For fitted yoga tops
Choose between a smooth jersey and fine rib, then consider sleeve length, body fit and layering. Check stretch at the armholes and seam comfort.
What to check on the real sample.
Move in it
Check opacity when stretched, waistband comfort and whether knees and elbows recover after wear.
Wash it
Compare the surface, dimensions and color before and after washing. Agree any required testing with the factory.
Check the specification
Confirm composition, weight, usable width and color reference. Similar-looking fabrics can feel and perform differently.
